Ipoh, Perak Darul Ridzuan, Malaysia

At the heart of Kinta Valley. The capital city of the state of Perak. An opposition stronghold. Factory of brilliant people. Desolated through emigration of its inhabitants to other parts of the country and overseas. Yet... it is forever remembered by its people.

FON again. Let's dig into this Argentina-born Spanish guy, Martin Varsavsky's very yakking business model:
1) Users: If I'm out-of-office or home, I can be still connected if I'm Foneros. 1mil hotspots is not just a dream; If I'm not Foneros, I can pay to stay connected in any hotspots over the world
2) ISPs: Pros or cons? You think of it...
3) If you as Foneros providing free WiFi access, you are Mr. Torvalds @ Linus
If you as Foneros acquising fees other non-Foneros's access, you are Mr. Gates @ Bill
If you as Non-Forenos tap into Fon hotspot, you are Aliens @; you pay for it. Fair enough.
Not bad of idea innovation, applying biz lively.

As a result, they secured a handsome $21.5mil.
