Ipoh, Perak Darul Ridzuan, Malaysia

At the heart of Kinta Valley. The capital city of the state of Perak. An opposition stronghold. Factory of brilliant people. Desolated through emigration of its inhabitants to other parts of the country and overseas. Yet... it is forever remembered by its people.

Ben, I won't be bother if you were to share your humble and commonsensical views that are disparaging UM. I won't be upset and dismay that you are praising UKM because you are a student in that university. After all, UKM do have their merits but how about UM? What substance they have that they can actually show and parade its eminence? Just its mere recognition as the oldest university in Malaysia and the distinctive Law and Medicine faculties I believe. Other than that, UM will be just as a ground of battles and tussles. I don't deny and I never, the fact that every single management and administration has its weaknesses and perplexity but I wonder whether UM ever noticed all these and hence outlined, and restructured its system and policies in registration especially in the Faculty of Science and "Kursus Elektif Luar Fakulti".
