The Big Thing !

Dear friends,

I am sure there were times you suddenly came across some old friends and you feel guilty for not keeping in touch. You wanted to talk more but you were in the middle of something else, or with another group of friends. Sometimes when we glance through our old Voyager magazine, you were reminded of old classmates and schoolmates, and you wonder where on earth, and how they are doing right now. Well, there were some gatherings here and there occasionally, but more often than not, the turn-out was quite poor, and the gatherings or ‘yum-cha’ session were most probably exclusive – meaning, invitation only to certain people. Well friends, we better do something now, or else, time shall dilute whatever we have left. Before many of us enter the workforce, and get posted here and there, before we part our ways for real, let’s REALLY gather for one last time.

So, a BIG plan is now in place for a BIG gathering. We want to gather everyone affiliated to ACS from 1998 to 2001. This means just almost everyone – from our friends in Form 5 to those in Form 6.

So, friends, here are the details of the Big Thing !

Suggested date:- i) 30th August 03
ii) 25th October 03
iii) 22nd November 03

Who is invited ?: Anyone affiliated to ACS from the year 1998 – 2001 :
this means the guys we last met in Form 5, the new guys and gorgeous girls in Form 6
everyone is also encouraged to bring a partner – your
girlfriends/boyfriends/spouse, etc

estimated cost : about RM 30 per person

Where ? : somewhere in Ipoh – to be decided later. We really hope to have it in BIG
place, a BIG hall, in a BIG hotel !!

we shall meet our old buddies, get to know new people, renew our contacts, let’s just have fun on that night. Let’s make it memorable !

How did this plan come about ?
I know there has been small-talks and wishful thinking of making something big like this. So, after meeting KayKeat and Elin for a drink today, we decided to really make it happen. This is not our project. This is everyone’s project ! This is your project ! We need help. We need you to help spread this news, we need help to organise, we need volunteers to perform on that night !
So, we expect BIG-hearted volunteers to sacrifice BIG time to set this BIG event rolling!

We really need you all to support this, and seriously consider making time to come back to Ipoh for this BIG thing. Let not anything personal or small-fry stop you guys from participating in this project !
