Ipoh, Perak Darul Ridzuan, Malaysia

At the heart of Kinta Valley. The capital city of the state of Perak. An opposition stronghold. Factory of brilliant people. Desolated through emigration of its inhabitants to other parts of the country and overseas. Yet... it is forever remembered by its people.

Understanding God.

some of us may have known don very well, some others know him a little and another some others dont know him at all. no matter how much we know him, he has gone back to be with the Lord. a sudden passing away. a cruel accident took his life away. tears shed. family members will never understand as to why he left them at such a young age.

whenever i wonder about this incident, i come to a point of the subject understanding God. will i be able to understand God? no way. simply because i am a human and God is God. how can one justifies the sudden demise of brother don. he was such a passionate christian, always grasping every single opportunity to make known God's love to everyone who has not known, was a pure, comforting and wise brother in christ AND yet why God chooses not to let him be a vessel for many more years to come.

we have a lot of questions to ask. God knows we have a lot to ask. sometimes you might reach a level asking why you, who have not done much for the Lord, who are not as pure and passionate as he is, are still here and yet he is gone? truly, we will never know and understand God's will and plan for each and everyone of us.

life and death are not in our hands for us to control. we are just mere creations of God. we are created to submit to Him, to His majesty and to His sovereignity. God never wants us to understand Him. He just wants us to know that He loves us, every single of us, and He has His time in architecting every breath, every movement, every matter to the matter of life and death.

we will only know why God does so and so when we get back to Him. and the very moment of his return to the Lord, i believe don would have asked and much more bewildered than we are. at the very point, i also believe that God smiled and explained to him and for that reason, i am also sure that don in heaven, who does miss us dearly too, would want us to accept God's will and continue to live a life fullest to the Lord as much as we are still on this earth.

truly also we as humans, we have emotions and we grieve over his demise. we are totally shaken but when it is time to get back to real business, we need to get back to it. there are tears to be shed but there is also a joy to celebrate that he is with the Lord now. God and don himself would be glad that we get over his passing away soon and rejoice together with them for they have reconciled in heaven.

it is time for us to remember what our brother don did and it is our responsibility now to follow and carry on his good works and memories he has left behind.

in remembrance of brother don anura who had touched souls and is now with the Lord in heaven.
