Your worry I share, man...no one that is really potential and talented is interested in politics, leaving shit people like Khir Toyo, and Ch'ng Toh Eng trying to take over in the future...
Sometimes I feel like contesting as an independent when the time comes. I am reaally inspired to read about Dr. Tan Chee Khoon. He was the Mr. Opposition, respected by both sides of the Parliament. He stood firm, and said the necessary things in Parliament, without fear and favour. Many times the govt tried to lure him in, he said - I do not enter politics to get a govt post. I enter because I want to serve.... Nowadays, the people in office are not serving us, they are wasting our money and giving us problem !!!
