To gain respect, one must humbles himself and respects those whom he want to get respect from. When juniors don't give seniors the due respect, what is wrong? In the first place, what the seniors have that made them well and should be respected? If seniors instill fear in juniors and consequently gain the respect from them, well, my say is, they respect their seniors not because they appreciate and really honour and respect them, they do it out of "fear" and for the sake of it. So, what I have learned from great and successful individuals be in academic or professional world, humility and sincerity and remain mediocre bring them to the levels they are standing now! Why demand your juniors to respect you? If you are worthy of respect, they will respect you no matter what! That is why I don't understand why the heck you people in the faculty of medicine make so much noise about orientation. Hey, there are more things for you to worry, to ponder, and to trouble yourselves with in this world. Again, don't be offended, just a piece of view from me, okay? :) Cheers!!!
