A special unit will be set to specifically handle the sexual and child abuse cases in every district of police station. This unit will be under the team of "well and specially trained" officers, which mostly comprises of women officers. Besides this, the inquiry counters will be placed seperately with other common criminal cases, where the victims will no longer have their harrowing time in lodging report in front of all sorts of people around. This can ease the procedure of inquiry where the victims can find their ease time while telling theis humiliation. The sexual abuse cases will be viewed with priority.

Undeniedly, the swift effort in curing this social inhuman cases should be given applauses as the recognition towards government determination in delivering an efficient public services, as pedged by our PM. We can notice the soft approach in taking care the victims' feeling also while making the report. Nevertheless, in my view, the set-up of this unit merely can deal with those who takes up their greatest courage to report, and how about the rest of victims who adopt to remain silent, repress and distraught?

So, amidst this first step in handling the sexual and child abuse, government should also ponder of other alternatives to ensure their citizen's safety, especially women and child. Among the action which can be taken is to give appopriate education to these group on self-protection, the existing self-protected equipment, and lastly the importance of lodging report if they face any assault or abuse.

Still remember the rape-cum-murder cases towards Canny Ong, Noritta Samsuddin, Nurulhuda Ghani, Siew Fong etc, which seem get virulent among the rapists last and this year. Yes, this kind of heinous and grusome cases used to evoke a huge outcry from the public. But, to be frank, we have seen it all before and yet, the momentum just vanished once something else came along to command attention. And the targeted group of women and child will continuely be victim ot the rapists, who always stay intriguing, unimaginable evil lurks behind the impassive face.

Hence, as suggested, the related authorities must think of a more holistic solution in tacking this brutal cases. Not only that, a better understanding of the potential culprits must be the imperative action also. According to local psychiatrist, in fact everyone is the potential culprit. The long-term under-pressure patients with their weird behaviour is the testament of his statement. So, the sexual, abuse or the rape-cum-murder cases cannot be treated independently as they are also linking to other side-effect social ills, underpinned with tremendous physical development.
