Ipoh, Perak Darul Ridzuan, Malaysia

At the heart of Kinta Valley. The capital city of the state of Perak. An opposition stronghold. Factory of brilliant people. Desolated through emigration of its inhabitants to other parts of the country and overseas. Yet... it is forever remembered by its people.

3 days ago I received one email from one of the contestants of YITEA, saying that she missed the workshop because she was totally out of idea of being shorlisted into Round 2 until she received an email from HSBC recently, which was a notice of deadline submission reminder. She became dismay and appealed for kind assistance from other shortlisted teams regarding the business plan structure.

My first thought was - if they cannot accomplish their proposal on time, they will be facing forfeiture of RM800. Thus, I clinched to lend them my hand, sending a business plan template which I have learnt during previous workshop. I listed down all the 9 parts as well as their descriptions, and notified them with the correct formats and margins.

I might be too lunatic to do so, because my action will make the competition more intense, and my team will have higher possibility of elimination during this second round. But, after my sobering thought - if no one is willing to response to her email, I gauge her team will absolutely lose their high spirit to pursue, glaring the RM800 note flew off with disappointment, and squawking about this freaky incident.

That's why I made up my mind to help them, at least they can have a comprehensive guideline to write their business plan. Albeit I really have a rosy dream, hoping that our team can garner the prestigious award and fly to Seattle with tangible gaiety, but I won't be regret or enraged if our team is rounded off meanwhile her team can move into final round. I believe my crew will share a same view too. My team had shown a vigorous preseverance to prevail the pinnacle, and thus we are expecting or seeking for a intense yet rational and healthy rivalry.

She email me her acknowledgement and thankfulness yesterday, and she promised in about her submission before deadline, which is today. I sincerely hope that she can make it, and we can meet each other during presentation workshop on 17Feb..
